Our Services
Kids' Chinese Reading Class
The curriculum is supported by SLCO Community Resources, a non-profit organization set up by the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Course materials include graded books and children’s picture books developed by Greenfield Education Center. This course is designed to enhance children's literacy level and lexicon, allowing them to understand basic Chinese sentence structures in a systematic manner upon completion.
Bilingual Baby Signing Classes
We offer bilingual baby signing classes, where both deaf and hearing teachers collaborate to teach in parents' native languages and American Sign Language (ASL). This innovative approach is aimed at enhancing children's language development and fostering inclusivity from an early age.
Comprehensive Communication Services
This includes the provision of sign language interpretation services, catering to individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and utilize American Sign Language (ASL) or Hong Kong Sign Language (HKSL), available by appointment.
Parent-Child Support and Literacy Enrichment Programs
Our services extend to a variety of programs, including parent support groups, dialogic reading classes, and social interaction sessions, all designed to cater to the unique needs of parents and children with diverse learning and language requirements.
Career Coaching
By using the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), DISC personality assessment, and Enneagram personality typology, experienced educator conduct interviews to help young people gain self-awareness and assist them in finding their paths.
Books Go Around
Reading is an essential part of children's growth. We hope to provide more reading opportunities with a wider variety of books. So, we are launching a used children's book exchange service that allows children to enjoy the pleasure of reading and keep the life of books by passing them on!
you can exchange books on a one-for-one basis or donate them to a charity sale in our book crossing zone.
Donations from the charity sale will be used to promote Cantonese.
Storytelling Parents Volunteers Team
The trained Storytelling Parents volunteers will use dialogic reading techniques to tell stories to all the children during the "Books Go Around" session. It's free of charge.
Parent Talks
We regularly organize parent workshops to provide parents with a better understanding of their children and promote communication among family members!
Books Ordering
We partner with Greenfield Education Centre and Cotton Tree Publishing Ltd to provide our parents with a series of affordably priced children's books and picture book order.
