Free "Move · Learn · Play" Children's Skills Group — Now Enrolling

Free Saturday group in Richmond for newcomer children ages 5–12 building attention, social skills and emotional regulation. Starts November 2026.

Thanks to CKNW Kids' Fund, Familogue offers this Emotional Regulation & Social Skills Training Group free of charge for newcomer families. Through sensory-motor, social and executive function games, children build attention, social skills, emotional regulation and body coordination.

Date: Saturdays, 3 seasons a year, 8 sessions each Time: 3:00 – 4:30 PM Location: Familogue Richmond Service Centre (5530, 8181 Cambie Road, Richmond) Who: Newcomer children ages 5–12 who need support with attention, social, emotional or sensory skills (no diagnosis needed) Language: Cantonese, with English support Fee: Free

• Fall: November 2026 – January 2027
• Winter: February – April 2027
• Spring: May – June 2027

Good to know

• Each child may join one season (8 sessions) only, free of charge.
• Only 8 spots per season. Limited spots, first come, first served.
• Once your child is selected, a staff member will contact you with class details.
• After two unexcused absences, the spot goes to a waitlisted child.
