Free Neurodivergent Culture Lab Art Workshops — Now Recruiting

Free Neurodivergent Culture Lab: 6 Saturday art workshops for ages 12–18 in Vancouver, Oct–Nov 2026, ending in a Nov 28 public exhibition.

Familogue Education Society, in partnership with Westside Baptist Church, is running a series of free, sensory-aware creative workshops where young people explore storytelling, sound and visual art alongside professional artist instructors. We are recruiting 8 young artists to create original artwork across the full series, plus volunteers who join every session, take part in the same creative activities and support the workshops. Every participant, artist or volunteer, walks away having made something of their own.

Every session is welcoming and flexible: different communication styles, paces and ways of taking part are all supported.

Date: Saturdays Oct 3, Oct 24, Oct 31, Nov 7, Nov 14 and Nov 21, 2026; public exhibition Saturday, Nov 28 Time: 2:00 – 5:00 pm Location: Westside Baptist Church Gallery (8506 Ash Street, Vancouver) Age: 12–18 Cost: Free Attendance: 65% or more recommended

The Nov 28 exhibition is open to the public as part of the church's Christmas Market.
